The best way to survive Viral Hepatitis is to know you have it
Every year nearly a million people die from viral hepatitis. Nearly all of them are diagnosed far too late to help. If you wait for symptoms of liver cirrhosis or liver cancer to get your hepatitis b and c tests, it may be too late.  People don't really die of viral hepatitis they die of ignorance of actually having it for decades in their bloodstreams. The test is quick and simple for both Hepatitis B and C and can save your life.
So do not delay......

Get yourself tested, get your family tested, get your friends tested."
Hepatitis B and C tests are available at GUM clinics, hospitals and General Practitioners across the UK, simply ask for them.  The tests are very accurate and take a couple of days at the most to return a result.  If you don't know where to start just see your GP and ask.

The World Health Organisation recommends Hepatitis B Testing and Vaccination to all UK citizens originating from Africa, Asia, South America and Eastern Europe. We at the Hepatitis B Trust also recommend testing and vaccination to all UK citizens traveling to such nations and also all staff who work with blood from Cleaners to Security, from First Aiders to Beauticians.
